I was recommended to Balance medical from a local friend here in Colorado as we are visiting from Costa Rica. It was suggested that it may help to have a session in the hyperbaric chamber to help adjust to the altitude.
The entire experience was educational and professional with both Dr Jesi and her husband Dr Jason explaining the process step by step and not only the benefits of what to expect but how your body functions and why this process would help me to climatize to the altitude.
A great experience and can say it really worked for me I was experiencing a slight headache and just kind of worn out. After the one-hour session I was revitalized and had renewed energy and my headache was gone. I have been hiking and climbing since here in the mountains and feel great.

10 years ago I broke my leg in two places and had 14 pins, two plates and bone graphed into my tib/fib/ankle, and was told I would deal with arthritis for the rest of my life. Being extremely active in sports, weight lifting, and with my profession I found that movement helped but was almost counter intuitive. I lost nearly 75% range of motion in the joint and became limited in certain abilities in addition to consistent discomfort. I'm now 4 months out from receiving PRP and cellular therapy from Jason, and i have seen a significant improvement in my ability to not only move the joint with gained ROM, but pain and discomfort is nearly non existent after strenuous activities. I used to wake up and find it hard to take the first few steps, which is no longer an issue. I recently had Dr Jess treat my plantar fasciitis with shock wave therapy. The results are amazing! I had 4-5 treatments about 2 weeks apart. The results are not immediate, but within a few days I had so much relief and after a few treatments the difference is incredible! SO worth it!

I get both top-notch chiropractic care and nutritional counseling/guidance at Balance Natural Medicine. Both doctors are quite knowledgeable and tend to their patients with focused attention and warmth. It's one thing to have a chiropractor "know their stuff", but the doctors in this office also stay abreast of the latest techniques and information, and keep their tools and techniques on the forefront of modern practice. Having an accomplished chiropractor in a little town like Ridgway is a blessing, and having two accomplished chiropractors in our little town is a double blessing.
